Spectacular Selection

SippingFineWine is always excited in trying new wines and especially the rare opportunity to taste something unique, exceptional and spectacular, and sharing such insights with wine aficionados.  Yan Cellars is a small exquisite boutique winery crafting wines from esteemed vineyard sites in Napa Valley.  Their 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Blush was produced from Napa Valley fruit; 98.5% Sauvignon Blanc and 1.5% Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowned historic Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard with a reputation of producing some of the finest wine in Napa.  Yan is owned by Eugene Bayani, and Patrick Saboe is the winemaker, together they produce extraordinary small-lots of wine, paying attention to details from harvest to production.

Yan Cellars has a “Mailing List,” join their list and you will receive news of releases and offering of some unique limited quantity wines.  Keep checking back with SippingFineWine.com as I continue to report on my wine discoveries!

2019 Yan Sauvignon Blanc Blush

Alluring light Salmon color with orange tints, aromas of stone and citrus fruits, slight floral scents and pleasing grape must notes.  Aged for 12 months in neutral French oak and stainless steel barrels, the palate displays flavors of peach and tart cherry with lemon zest and hints of white flowers.  Medium body with great mouthfeel, dry and crisp with lively acidity, good structure, well balanced, long finish ending with fruit and slight mineral character.  Not your typical SB, something really unique with the splash of Cab that makes this wine a stand-out!  Must try, grab a bottle before they are gone!  Tasting Sample.

Cheers!
